Against the backdrop of a world wracked by fear of a mysterious ebola-like virus, word has begun spreading of a new type of infection - or rather infestation - able to be spread from phone to phone via the popular act of taking photos of one's self and sending it to others. It's a new breed of head lice, and the first creature ever to be able to digitize and transmit itself from one person to another over the airwaves. Unsurprisingly, authorities are forcing media outlets to beef up the disinformation on this, as the truth could cause one of our modern day major infrastructures for communication to be abandoned.
